Does POLYAS store the voters’ IP addresses?
Yes, the IP addresses are recorded by the operating system as part of the TCP connection within the kernel and also made available in the application servers running on it. We do not track click flow or user behavior. However, IP addresses are stored in the main memory to ensure that only a certain number of requests are sent per IP address within a certain period. This is used as protection against brute force attacks. IP addresses are not saved for later analysis.
